I think fashion houses may be tired of mini bags because oversized bags appeared in a slew of SS23 fashion shows from Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Acne Studios, and more. With mini bags being a cult favourite the past few seasons, it may take a while for anyone to be accustomed to oversized bags. But I reckon it makes a huge statement when styled. Besides, oversized bags has the room to fit all your knick knacks.
We saw oversized clutch at Louis Vuitton and massive crossbodies at Bottega Veneta and Ferragamo. For mini bags fans, it may take a while to warm up to this emerging trend. But fashion is always about switchings things up isn’t it? So take this as a sign to try something new! And sooner or later, you may find yourself choosing to carry an oversized bag over your daily mini bag.
The woven Bottega bags have been my favourite. It just gives retro vibes and I love that they incorporated the gold handle this season.
