The skin tight fit emphasised the model’s figure, adding a sensual and flirtatious facet. If you want to eschew the more unorthodox routes of tiny hemlines and plunging necklines, there are plenty of playful ways to layer and add a sense of sultry intrigue to a look, from dress overlays adding drama atop a simple evening slip to more risqué lingerie-baring pieces.
The sexy looks aren’t just for red carpets and runways. Thanks to social media, the trend has made its rounds rocked by our favourite muses including Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Tahliah Barnett (FKA Twigs). There are many ways you can incorporate a sheer moment into your everyday style. It doesn’t have to be a full on sheer look but having hints of skin peeking through still adds a touch of friskiness.
