Must Have Accessories

Ballet shoes

I’m sure you’ve heard of ‘Ballet Core’. People love living in the past, don’t they? This style subculture is simply dressing like ballerinas. But who said you need to be a ballerina to sport like one? Thanks to Miu Miu, ballet shoes became an IT girl staple in 2022 and the craze continues with zestful colours and striking metallics. Simone Rocha, Sandy Liang, and Miu Miu are some of the prominent designers that took on a contemporary approach of ballet shoes.

Silver Accessories

Gold has had its main character moment for the longest time but it’s time to embrace all things silver. Numerous models wore chunky silver necklaces, earrings, and bangles in recent Spring/Summer runways. As a silver girlie myself, I’m biased towards this trend. Maybe its time to face your inner roots and try accessorising with silver jewellery into your next outfit!

Crochet Hats

DIY/Handmade crochet has been major the past two years, with many creatives establishing their crochet businesses. I’m guessing its due to the pandemic whereby everyone was cooped up in their homes with no where to go. Hence, people found ways to utilise their free time by releasing their creativity. For Spring/Summer 2023, we’re focusing on hats specifically crochet hats! As seen on star-studded shows like Eudon Choi and Paul & Joe appearing in different silhouettes and styles. I reckon crochet hats are easy to find nowadays, just search up your local small businesses to get your hands on one.

Rosette

If you want to elevate your outfit, adding a rose accessory will instantly look more stylish and trendy. There are just too many ways to wear a rose accessory. The most popular being a choker but donning it as a belt, bracelet, or brooch are some of the fun methods to possess the rosette trend.
