Sneak Peek: Loewe Pre Fall 2023
With the launch of all the pre fall 2023 campaigns, we were for certain looking forward to what Jonathan Anderson will wow us with at Loewe and we were not disappointed when he showed us some sneak peeks on his personal Instagram account.
Following his new pivot in the house’s creative vision, Footwear has once again been his creative outlet with many unique styles that include pom pom embellished pumps. There were also more variations of the pant-boot hype with a full leather thigh high boot that featured a waistband finish complete with a button. There are also super fluffy leg warmers styled with ribbon embellished pumps.
The ready to wear is also an extension of their Spring 2023 collection, with his 3D corset and tops designed to mimic bows that we adorn our holiday wrapping. We also see knitted vests augmented by wire, like his hoop dresses from Spring 2023. Extra large tote bags were also seen in his impromptu looking lookbook shoot, cementing the potential return of large bags.
Eyewear were also highly interesting, with extremely oversized bubble frames and clip-on shades added onto round tortoiseshell frames. His pivot for the brand has certainly rejuvenated this Spanish heritage house’s modern fashion vision. We look forward to seeing the brand’s official Pre Fall 2023 lookbook and more of what Anderson has planned.
