Predictions: It Bag v.2023
With the new year, there will be new bag wishlists made. Before you set forth and acquire these 2023 bags of your year. Here’re some of our predictions on what might be a good bag to add to your wardrobe, so it might not necessarily be an IT Bag, but it certainly will be a good bag. Let’s start it off with none other than Gucci.

With the recent new Jackie campaign launch starring Dakota Johnson we have already seen a surge in online people talking about these bags. There are vintage versions, there are new ones. The best part about this bag has got to be its extendable strap, it can be used as a top handle, under the arm or crossbody bag. Who doesn’t love a good versatile bag. Also, you are probably able to find some vintage gems with this style.
The Row Half Moon Shoulder Bag
The quiet luxury of this brand has rubbed off on many celebrities, bringing many of their styles to virality like their zip up boots of winter of 2019 and the 2020 Ginza slides of the summer. This bag is a good compact size with a subtle design detail in the curve of its zipper. It will probably overtake the By Far under the arm bag come summer 2023. When you are island hopping in Italy or just bustling around the city, it will carry all essentials stylishly.

This bag silhouette has been around for a while, but at the recent Co-Ed show that Maison Margiela held, Kylie Jenner was carrying a micro version that was heavily embellished. Is this the brand’s way of pushing this classic style to the IT crowd? Through the most influential woman on the internet? This bag is truly cool too, with its protruding square lining able to be hidden it can be carried as a classic round top handle bag or its edgier alter ego. It comes in many sizes and has a crossbody strap accompanying it.
JW Anderson Bumper Bag
This is a cartoonish take on the classic under the arm bag. With its rounded piping, where it gets its name, and cute silhouette, it has been seen on many arms over the fall season. We think that it will come back in full force during the summer months when this cute bag is bound to match any outfit and is easy to style day to night. Besides it is also a great size, with its rectangular shape it can fit that extra lippie or bucket hat on top of your essentials.
