HommeGirls Magazine Debut: Kylie Jenner
HommeGirls is dubbed as a multimedia initiative – part zine, part Instagram account, part website targeting women who shop the men’s division.
An online phenomenon that has shaped the fashion, beauty, and pop-culture scene is the face of HommeGirls Magazine SS23, Volume 9 cover. Ms Jenner is undoubtedly an OG insta-baddie since her first appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s at age nine. Since her rocket to fame, she has been the epitome of: full lips, button nose, and doe eyes. And currently at 25, if you mentioned ‘Kylie Jenner’ to a friend, there’s no doubt that they are unaware of the American socialite. It’s the impact that she has caused to position her at the forefront of others.
In her debut HommeGirls cover, Kylie appeared to be wearing Atsuko Kudo latex bodysuit, Allin Studio skirt, Vex Clothing stockings, and By Far mules. The styling and art direction instantly embodied dark baddie femininity, which matched her vibe impeccably. Subsequently, she was also seen sporting a Sarah Aphrodite dress which effortlessly accentuated her hourglass figure. And she ended with a Mugler leather jacket giving a sultry look.
However, followers of HommeGirls are not positively receiving that Kylie Jenner is the face of the zine, stating that it’s not on brand.
